“It takes courage to push yourself to places that you have never been before, to test your limits, to break through barriers. And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
Anais Nin
ABOUT ME
I came into the therapy profession because I truly believe in people's capacities to grow and evolve through the many transitions in their lives. I feel honored to be part of people’s personal journeys of transformation and healing. My goal is always to provide a safe and mindful space for people to uncover the issues that have caused discomfort or pain, and then watch them discover that those very same issues can also provide opportunities for growth.
In addition to being a therapist, I am the Chief Clinical Officer at Causeway Collaborative, and a former tenured Associate Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy where I trained graduate students to become therapists. In my personal time, I most enjoy lifting weights, being in nature, engaging in a daily spiritual practice, creating in the kitchen, and laughing with my wife, fur babies, friends, and family.

Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping)
My therapeutic practice focuses on helping you navigate the areas of your life where you feel stuck. My goal is to help you transcend these obstacles so that you can experience more harmony and emotional well-being in your life and relationships.
Whether you are having difficulty with a particular life situation, are on a path of personal or spiritual growth, or are experiencing challenges in your personal relationships, my mission each session is to support you with transforming these difficulties. I will not only consider what is going on with you individually, but also how you are affected by the larger context in which you live, including the various relationships in your life.
My style is warm, empathetic, and nurturing, while also being direct and interactive. Our work together will require self-reflection, the willingness to get uncomfortable at times, and the desire to move beyond that which is keeping you stuck. We will blend a variety of treatment approaches that are systemic and holistic.
